In an industry with so many variables and moving parts, no move can be made until every available safety measure and precaution has been taken. At Aveda, that starts with an overall commitment to safety and zero incidents from senior management through every level of employee, management and contractor.
Each member of the Aveda team has stop work authority, and prior to beginning any project, all Aveda employees and contractors review applicable safe work practices and procedures and conduct a hazard risk assessment.
With a strong commitment to all legislative, company and client requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environmental issues, policies and procedures, Aveda continually delivers the highest standards of safety to protect employees, customers, the environment and equipment from harm or loss. And we’re always improving. Our internal reporting on training, incidents and root cause analysis is timely and accurate, and we’re currently enacting a four-year strategic plan to lower our Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) to below 2.0.
